However, in recent days, more and more Vietnamese gamers have been complaining that they are unable to access the Steam platform. Both the Steam client and the website are inaccessible.

Some might suspect that it is a temporary technical issue with a specific Vietnamese internet service provider, which would be quickly resolved. However, the actual situation is different.

Many Vietnamese gamers using different internet service providers are experiencing the same issue. Steam has been completely blocked in Vietnam and is inaccessible. Please refer to Figures 1 and 2.

Therefore, it is almost impossible that this problem is caused by a technical fault. The Vietnamese government and network regulatory authorities have likely ordered the ban on Steam. The reason for this is unknown.

Currently, the Vietnamese authorities are very low-key about this issue. No official department or blogger has come forward to confirm or respond to this incident. The Steam platform has also not responded yet.

This event is still developing. Whether Steam will be accessible again in Vietnam is worth watching. We will share more updates as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
