A few months ago, I shared some good news with everyone: AMD will continue to release several new processors based on the AM4 platform shortly.
Among them, the most noteworthy are the Ryzen 5 5600X3D, Ryzen 7 5700X3D, and Ryzen 7 5700.
Currently, the Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor has been launched, but only in the United States. It is somewhat challenging for ordinary consumers in the domestic market to acquire it. There is still no official confirmed information available for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D.
The main focus of this article is the Ryzen 7 5700. Presently, official substantial information about this processor is available. Recently, it has appeared on AMD’s official website, disclosing detailed specifications. Hence, the credibility of the content in this article is unquestionable.
Before this, AMD had already released the Ryzen 7 5700X and Ryzen 7 5700G. Based on past experiences, it is estimated that the Ryzen 7 5700 could be a watered-down version of the Ryzen 7 5700X or a version without integrated graphics, akin to the Ryzen 7 5700G. Which possibility holds greater weight remains uncertain.
The next discussion is about the second question: Has the Ryzen 7 5700 been launched in the Chinese market?
Why does this question hold significance? Because AMD previously released the Ryzen 5 5600X3D exclusively in the United States, the availability of the Ryzen 7 5700 in the Chinese market might have some uncertainties.
What I’m about to inform everyone is that the answer to this question is affirmative. AMD’s official website has indicated its sales territory includes China (please refer to the above image), so you can rest assured. However, the downside is, as per the information available to me, the rumored Ryzen 7 5700X3D is still slated for sale exclusively in the United States.
The last question is extremely important, focusing on the specific price of the Ryzen 7 5700. While the performance of this processor should be adequate and not significantly inferior to the Ryzen 7 5700X, the crucial aspect is its price. What about its cost-effectiveness? Is it worth buying?
Regrettably, AMD’s official website currently hasn’t disclosed the price, nor are there any reliable third-party rumors available to share.
Presently, the actual market price of the Ryzen 7 5700X is approximately around CNY1000. Only if the price of the Ryzen 7 5700 is at least CNY200 less than the Ryzen 7 5700X, would it represent good value and be worth purchasing. If this is the case, it would be highly appealing for users of lower-end models from the existing Ryzen 2000 and Ryzen 3000 series to upgrade to the Ryzen 7 5700.
Expectations are that the final price and actual performance reviews of the Ryzen 7 5700 processor will be released soon. I’ll promptly share the latest updates as soon as they become available, so please stay tuned.
